What we do

Ten engineering capabilities, one accountable team.

Engage us for a single capability or let us run the full lifecycle of a product.

2026 and beyond

Built for what's next.

Six shifts our clients are planning for, and how we help them get ahead of each one.

  1. 01

AI agents move from demos to production

The question is no longer whether an agent can do the task, but whether it can be evaluated, permissioned and audited. We build agents with tool scopes, approval steps and evaluation from day one.

    AI engineering
  2. 02

AI governance becomes a buying requirement

With EU AI Act obligations phasing in through 2026 and 2027, procurement teams ask for documentation, logging and human oversight. We design those in rather than bolting them on.

    Security & trust
  3. 03

    Shoppers arrive through AI assistants

Discovery is shifting to chat and shopping agents. Stores need clean product data, structured feeds and APIs that agents can use, alongside a fast storefront for people.

    AI-powered commerce
  4. 04

Platform engineering replaces ad hoc DevOps

Teams want golden paths: self-service deployments, previews, secrets and observability with guardrails. We build internal platforms and hosting products that make shipping routine.

    Deployment platforms
  5. 05

AI cost becomes a line item to manage

Model routing, caching, smaller specialised models and usage metering keep AI features affordable as they scale. We measure cost per task alongside quality.

    AI automation
  6. 06

    Legacy modernisation, accelerated by AI

AI-assisted code analysis and migration make long-postponed rewrites practical, provided tests and reviews keep behaviour intact. We modernise in safe, measurable stages.

Ways to start

A small first step, with a useful result either way.

Every engagement begins with something concrete you can keep, whether or not you continue with us.

How we deliver
  1. 01About 2 weeks

    AI Readiness Assessment

Find the AI use cases worth building, and the ones to skip.

    • Use-case workshop with your team
    • Data and systems review
    • Risk, privacy and governance notes
    • Roadmap and rough budget range

You get: A ranked shortlist of use cases with value, risk and a recommended first build.

Best for: Leaders under pressure to adopt AI who want a measured first move.

  2. 022 to 3 weeks

    Discovery & Architecture Sprint

Turn an idea or a problem into a plan you can price and approve.

    • Stakeholder and user interviews
    • Architecture and data model
    • Clickable prototype of key flows
    • Phased plan with risks and assumptions

You get: Scope, architecture, clickable prototype and a phased estimate.

Best for: New products, replatforming and anything with unclear scope.

  3. 036 to 12 weeks

    Prototype to MVP

A production-quality first release, not a throwaway demo.

    • Two-week delivery cycles with demos
    • Design system and core flows
    • CI/CD, monitoring and documentation
    • Launch support

You get: A live product with tests, monitoring and a backlog driven by real usage.

Best for: Founders and product teams ready to put software in front of users.

    Dedicated Product Team

Engineers and a lead who work as an extension of your team.

    • You approve every team member
    • Your tools, rituals and repositories
    • Weekly demos and written updates
    • Scale up or down with notice

You get: Predictable capacity, steady delivery and knowledge that stays documented.

Best for: Companies with a roadmap that outpaces their hiring.

Security & trust

The answers your security review will ask for.

How we protect your data, your IP and your users, including how AI is governed in what we build and how we use it ourselves.

Read our trust practices
  • Secure development lifecycle

Security is part of every change, not a review at the end.

  • Data protection

We handle your data as if a regulator were watching.

  • Confidentiality and IP

Your ideas and code stay yours.

  • Responsible AI

AI features ship with measurement, oversight and an audit trail.

  • Quality and reliability

Software that keeps working after launch day.

  • Continuity and no lock-in

You can always take the work in-house.

Technology

Proven tools, chosen for your problem.

We pick technology on merit and explain why, so you are never locked into someone's favourite stack.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask before the first call.

How do engagements usually start?

Most start with a short paid discovery or assessment. You get a scope, architecture and estimate you can use with us or anyone else, so the risk of the first step stays small.

How do you estimate cost?

After discovery we give a phased estimate with the assumptions written down. Fixed-scope projects are priced per phase; dedicated teams are priced per person per month.

Who owns the code and intellectual property?

You do. Source code, infrastructure definitions and documentation are assigned to you as set out in the contract.

Will you sign an NDA before we share details?

Yes. Send a request through the contact form and we will sign your NDA or provide ours before any detailed conversation.

Can you work with our team and time zone?

Yes. We agree overlapping hours, use your communication and project tools, and hold weekly demos so progress is visible regardless of location.

How do you use AI in your own engineering?

We use AI tools for coding, review and testing to move faster, and every change is reviewed by an engineer. Your code only goes to tools you have approved.

Can you take over an existing codebase?

Yes. We start with a short audit of structure, risk and test coverage, then recommend whether to extend, refactor or replace parts of it.

What happens after launch?

You can take the system in-house with full documentation, or keep us for support, monitoring and continued development under an agreed service level.
